AG Aviary is a family-run Model Aviculture Program (MAP) certified African Grey parrot breeder. AG Aviary was established in 2006 by Sean Leary. AG Aviary now has over 20 employees with a network of aviaries and people who all share a passion for the beautiful birds. We are established in Austin, Texas and interact with customers all over the United States. We always welcome people who are passionate about African Greys.
We specialize in the breeding, training and taming of African Grey parrots. We have much love for all parrots, but we have decided to specialize in this particular species and its subspecies in order to provide each of our birds with the attention required to attain complete nurturing, development, taming and training. This goes a long way to preparing the baby parrots for their new homes. Also, our team is filled with people are highly and reliably experienced in this type of parrot.
We guarantee a minimum standard of good behavior to be expected of African Greys bred and nurtured by us. We have dedicated departments for weaning, taming, training, socialization and evaluation of the birds.
We are very keen on preventing cases where pet parrots are handed up to shelters due to behavioral problems and incompatibility. We also have an internal Certified Avian Veterinarian who ensures and assures the health of the birds. We all feel very sad to encounter a pet parrot who has been degraded to feather plucking and we are committed to preventing such a situation.
